EU-PolarNet White Papers

White papers from the EU-PolarNet White Paper Workshop Sept 2018 are now available.
The EU-PolarNet white paper workshop, which took place from 24th to 28th September in La Cristalera, Spain, was an important milestone towards an integrated European Polar Research Programme – one of EU-PolarNet’s main deliverables. The objective of the workshop was to develop several white papers with topics of high interest to the European society, and where the outcomes of future research will have benefits that are economic, social or cultural. It brought together thoroughly chosen international polar experts within five key areas: People; Climate and Cryosphere; Sustainable Management of Resources and Human Impacts; Polar Biology, Ecology and Biodiversity; and New Technology. These overarching key areas are based on the results of the EU-PolarNet deliverable D2.1 on prioritised objectives in polar research.

Re: EU-PolarNet White Papers

One of the reasons that the white papers faded a bit was that DSXchange obtained technology that enabled webinars and training DVDs to be created.  Would you prefer one of these formats?

Re: EU-PolarNet White Papers

I think you missed it.  The OP signed up with DSX only, AFTER DataStageXchange had closed.  These folks currently cant get at the white papers area.

Re: EU-PolarNet White Papers

I am trying to access the white papers and articles on the old DataStageExchange web site.  It does not allow be to view because I am not logged on.  I joined DSX after the move to the current site.  I tried registering for that site but it does not allow new registrations.  How can I access these articles and white papers?

Re: EU-PolarNet White Papers

Webinars / Training DVDs are very good kind of media but a document has always an advantage that it can be preserved/printed and referred at anytime.

I apologise, but, in my opinion, you are not right. I am assured. Write to me in PM.
